Financial Condition

Revenue

For the fiscal year ending in 2018, total revenue for all funds equaled $16.81 million. All of the revenue came from Proprietary funds. The largest source of enterprise revenue came from sewer/reclaimed water sales and services.

Expenditures

For the fiscal year ending in 2018, Total expenditures for all funds equaled $12.74 million. The majority of expenses came from Proprietary funds. The largest source of enterprise expenditures came from sewer/ reclaimed water utilities.

Fund Balance

For the fiscal year ending in 2018, unrestricted Net Position accounted for a majority of the fund balance for all funds. The district began the year with 5.5 million and ended with 7.1  million.

Balance Sheet

For fiscal year 2018, total assets equaled 49.68 million, while the districts liabilities totaled 8.28 million. There were more deferred outflows than inflows and the majority of assets and liabilities were non-current.

Other Increase & Decreases

For fiscal year 2018, the district had 1.37 million of capital contributions, which accounted for majority of other increases. A large portion of other decreases came from capital expenditures.

Debt Service

 

For fiscal year 2018, the district paid 92% in principal and 8% in interest towards its enterprise debt service. The majority of the debt repaid went towards sewer/reclaimed water utilities.

Rates

Sewage treatment rates are the largest part of your monthly rates and all three of these agencies charge different amounts for sewage treatment.

The location of your residence or business within the District determines which sewage treatment facility your sewage will be discharged to. As a result, your rates are partly determined by the different treatment rates charged to the District by the three treatment providers.
